Archeological museum Jageshwar (40.8 Kms)

At Jegeshwar, the 1995-built sculpture shed was transformed into a museum in 2000. It contains 174 sculptures that date from the 9th to the 13th century AD and were discovered in the area in temples belonging to the Jageshwar Group, Dandeshwar Group, and Kuber Group. A modest collection of exquisite religious carvings that were salvaged from adjacent temples for preservation can be found in this archaeological museum. Kumaon Regimental Center (KRC) Museum, Almora (54.3 Kms)

Pithoragarh fort, Pithoragarh (120 Kms)

The Gorkhas rebuilt Pithoragarh Fort in 1789 after it had been established during the rule of the Chand rulers. The fort is situated atop a hill not far from Pithoragarh town.
